I don’t have anything to say right now. I just wanted to move the inappropriate video down a little on the main page.
But really, I’m glad it’s 2009. Last year wasn’t too great, what, with losing my job and all. Not to mention losing my iPhone in a cab and having my brand new jacket stolen out of the booth that my friends were occupying and standing around. That took balls.
That is all over, as far as I’m concerned. I do still need to get a new jacket, but the old one (crappy zipper and all) is working for now, whilst I do my penance for leaving it with people that didn’t necessarily know to protect it. Last year is done, and things can only get better from here on out. I’m looking forward to that.
Too funny. Coldplay’s ‘Scientist’ just came on my Pandora station, and the lyrics “Nobody said it was easy” played as I was trying to figure out what to write next.
It’s tough to be optimistic about this new year since I’m currently focusing on all the crap that happened, but I am. I have no doubt that it will end up better than last year.
